SANYO Semiconductor Co., Ltd. has developed ultra-low power "8-bit general-purpose Flash Microcontroller" with built-in flexible amps that can be used in wide range of applications. Sample shipment is expected to start in May 2010.
By incorporating two flexible amplifiers, this microcontroller offers high degree of freedom in design and can be used in wide range of applications. Power consumption is 0.4µA*1, which is the top level in the industry, while its analog function was enhanced. It is ideal for mobile products, battery charger control, shavers, devices using solar batteries and audio output control.

This product incorporates 2 flexible amplifiers that support wide ranging analog control. It is capable of easy designing of sets without adding external parts. - Two 8-bit DA converters of R-2R ladder system are incorporated
By incorporating DA converters of R-2R ladder system, this product makes it possible to restrain wave-type distortion and noise source and thereby is ideal for the application of audio output control. - Power supply voltage monitoring function is incorporated
Power supply voltage of microcontroller can be monitored every 0.2V from 2.6V to 4.8V. It monitors power supply of battery chargers and accurately detects power failure during the operation of sets and prepares for the next operation without errors.
